Founded in Denmark in 1942, the family-owned furniture company has worked with rattan for more than eight decades, combining traditional craftsmanship with Scandinavian furniture design.

One of the most distinctive parts of Sika-Design is the ICONS collection. It brings historic rattan designs back into production in collaboration with the designers’ descendants and includes furniture by names such as Arne Jacobsen, Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel, Franco Albini and Franca Helg, Viggo Boesen and Tove Kindt-Larsen.
These are pieces with a history, but they do not necessarily create a formal atmosphere.

A natural rattan chair can be a beautiful choice for an interior or protected setting, while exposed terraces require materials selected for sun, rain, temperature changes and everyday outdoor use.
